Job information
We are looking for an experienced Congolese for the Rubber Coatings Technician positions. This is a permanent position with a rotation of 4 working days, 2 days off.
Based in Kinsevere and reporting to the Supervisor – Plastic Welding, this development opportunity is open to all skilled MMG employees willing to grow through this role.

Main responsibilities
- Ensure the rubber or ceramic (epoxy) coatings of the pipes, spools, coated tanks of the plant;
- Ensure the repair of conveyor belts in the event of defect or tear,
- Document all the findings of a Maintenance Work Order after completion of the task;
- Complete the Task Hazard Analysis (THA) form and ensure that they are used for all tasks or follow Standardized Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Maintain excellent standards of good behavior in the workplace
- Promote the culture of continuous improvement within teams and provide information on identified opportunities.
- Ensure that all events and hazards are accurately reported in a timely manner in the workplace
- Perform other tasks as needed
Skills
- Knowing how to read and write in French, English is an asset;
- Being able to work in a team or individually;
- Be honest, of good character and flexible
- Be physically fit and courageous
- Be able to work under pressure and give good results on time while respecting the safety standards of the company;
- Being able to listen to and understand information and ideas presented in technical language.
Awareness
- Knowledge of the principles and tools used for rubber or ceramic coating on pipes, tanks;
- Knowledge of the use of ceramic or epoxy and the standards applied to it;
- Knowledge of adhesives used in rubber coatings
- Knowledge of work authorization systems
Experience
- Have two years of experience in maintenance operations in a mineral processing environment or one year of experience in rubber or ceramic coatings work or similar work
Qualifications
- Certificate from a recognized institution [TM1] or its equivalent
