The price of a tonne of copper records a drop of 511.2 USD this week

Copper, one of the main mining products exported from the Democratic Republic of Congo, is expected to experience a significant drop in price on the international market during the week from March 21 to 26, 2022.

According to the analyzes of experts from the National Commission of Mercurial Prices of the Ministry of Foreign Trade, this product should sell at 10,017.80 USD per ton this week against 10,529.00 per ton last week.

Thus, copper should record a negative price difference of around 511.2 USD on the international market during the period under analysis.

According to the Copper Grade stock exchange, which delivers market developments in real time, a tonne of copper is sold at 9,317.55 euros or 10,247.85 US dollars on Tuesday, March 22, 2022.

The Commission Nationale des Mercuriiales also informs that the price of a ton of Zinc should fall on the international market during the period considered for this analysis. This product should sell this week at 3,833.00 USD per ton against 4,087.15 USD per ton last week, a drop in price estimated at 254.15 USD during this period.

After having climbed week after week, on this market, Tin should record a significant drop in price, inform the experts of the National Commission of Mercurial.

According to these experts, the ton of Tin should go from 48,534.50 USD per ton last week to 43,260.00 USD per ton this week.

This product thus recorded a resounding fall in price of the order of 5,274.5 USD during this week.

In addition, the positive blow of this week is to be put to the credit of Cobalt which should, according to the sources of the Ministry of Foreign Trade, record a significant increase in price of around 3,412.5 USD more on per ton during this period.

The tonne of Cobalt should be sold at 81,690.00 USD this week against 78,277.50 USD per tonne last week.

These prices put forward by the experts of the Ministry of Foreign Trade of the Democratic Republic of Congo are likely to experience variations during the period taken into account.
