The price of copper goes from 9,500.35 USD to 9,711.85 USD per tonne on the international market
The general trend of mining products exported from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) would be green for the period from June 6 to 11, 2022 on the international market. These are the projections of the National Mercurial Commission of the Ministry of Foreign Trade.
As of June 8, 2022, the price of copper stood at USD 9,711.85 on the London Metal Exchange (LME) compared to USD 9,500.35 last week on the same market.
In these projections, the National Mercurial Commission informs that copper should sell at 9,442.80 USD per ton this week against 9,401.70 per ton last week.
It should be noted that copper experienced a period of uncertainty on the international market following in particular the barrier measures to combat the Covid-19 pandemic in China.
Industry analysts report that metal prices have recovered on the London Metal Exchange (LME) following the decline in the dollar and the easing of health measures in China.
During this week, cobalt will have to remain stable on the international market and would trade around 87,781.05 USD.
Zinc is trending up this week at USD 3,880.90 per tonne versus USD 3,738.95 per tonne last week, a positive price gap of +USD 141.95.
Similarly, tin has improved this week to 34,618.75 USD per tonne against 34,392.50 USD per tonne last week, a positive price difference of +226.25 USD.
Gold is also up this week at 59.75 USD per gram compared to 59.61 USD per gram last week, thus generating a positive price difference of +0.14 USD.
Silver will need to hold steady in the market this week at $0.71 per gram over this period.
As for tantalum, it is showing an upward trend this week at 402.50 USD per Kg against 398.75 USD per Kg last week, an increase of +3.75 USD.
