With the exception of tantalum, all other main DRC export minerals are trending down this week from May 2-7, 2022

The general trend of the main mineral export products of the Democratic Republic of the Congo is downward for the main mineral exports of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, according to projections by the National Mercurial Commission of the Ministry of Foreign Trade.

Only tantalum is showing an uptrend this week. It is trading on the international market at 390 USD per Kg against 386.60 USD per Kg last week, i.e. a price increase of 3.4 USD.

Copper is down this week at 10,047.05 USD per tonne against 10,284.55 USD per tonne last week, a negative price difference of 237.5 USD.

Cobalt also shows a downward trend this week at 81,510.00 USD per ton against 81,541.00 USD per ton last week, a negative price difference of 31 USD.

Similarly, zinc is down this week at 4,382.25 USD per tonne against 4,490.60 USD per tonne last week, a price drop of 108.35 USD.

Tin is down to 43,300 USD per ton against 44,010 USD last week, a negative price difference of 710 USD.

Gold is trending down this week and is trading at $62.81 per gram from $64.02 per gram last week, giving a negative price gap of $1.21.

Silver is also down this week at $0.80 per gram from $0.84 per gram last week, a negative price differential of $0.04.
