World: 1447.5 USD to pay more for a ton of Tin this week

The price per tonne of Tin should experience a significant increase on the international market during the second week of March 2022.

In its report for the week from March 7 to 12, 2022, the National Mercurial Commission of the Ministry of Foreign Trade informs that most of the mining products exported from the Democratic Republic of Congo should register a price increase on the international market.

According to this document, Tin is expected to fall from 44,279.50 USD per ton last week to trade at 45,727.00 USD per ton this week. This product thus recorded a positive price difference of around 1447.5 USD during the period under analysis.

The rise in tin prices should help the economy of the Democratic Republic of Congo, which is one of the largest producers of this product on the African continent.

The current boom in the metals market portends record profits for the mining sector in 2022.

With the development of electric vehicles in vogue in the automotive industry, Tin is well on its way to making a name for itself on the international market, where since 2017 Tin prices have continued to rise.

It should be noted that several mining products have recorded a price increase on the international market since the launch of military operations in Ukraine by Russia.

The sanctions imposed on Russia by the West have strongly contributed to the rise in the price of mining products in the world.

As long as the calm does not return to the region of Eastern Europe, this situation would have a real impact on the prices of raw materials and agricultural products of which Russia and Ukraine are the largest producers.
