ZCCM-IH Appoints UK and Zambian Advisers to Support Global Growth Strategy
ZCCM Investments Holdings appoints Bowsprit Partners and Stockbrokers Zambia as advisers to strengthen its international market presence, improve liquidity and support its long-term growth strategy
Zambian mining and investment company ZCCM Investments Holdings (ZCCM-IH) has appointed London-based corporate advisory firm Bowsprit Partners as its financial adviser and corporate broker in the United Kingdom, effective immediately.
The company has also appointed Stockbrokers Zambia as its financial adviser for the optimisation of its listing on the Lusaka Securities Exchange (LuSE).
The appointments form part of ZCCM-IH’s broader strategy to improve market visibility, strengthen investor engagement and expand access to international capital markets.
Bowsprit Partners, which has previously advised ZCCM-IH, is a member of the London Stock Exchange and provides corporate advisory services to companies seeking access to global capital markets.
The firm holds several international market accreditations, including listing sponsor roles for various Euronext growth and access markets across Europe.
Stockbrokers Zambia will support ZCCM-IH’s efforts to enhance the effectiveness of its LuSE listing and contribute to the continued development of Zambia’s capital markets.
ZCCM-IH Targets Significant Growth Over the Next Decade
ZCCM-IH chief executive officer Kakenenwa Muyangwa said the company’s long-term strategy is focused on increasing its market value, expanding copper production and attracting a broader international investor base.
The company aims to grow its market capitalisation from approximately $1.4 billion to $7 billion over the next ten years through increased investment, improved operational performance and stronger participation in global capital markets.
Muyangwa said ZCCM-IH’s priorities include increasing copper production, improving share liquidity, expanding its international shareholder base and creating greater opportunities for future growth.
Expanding Global Investor Access
The appointment of international and local advisers reflects ZCCM-IH’s ambition to strengthen its position as a leading African investment company with exposure to the mining sector.
By improving its market presence and enhancing access to investors, ZCCM-IH aims to unlock additional value for shareholders while supporting Zambia’s mining growth ambitions.
The company holds interests in several strategic mining and industrial assets and continues to position itself as a key participant in the development of Zambia’s natural resources sector.
