Tin falls to 24,850 USD per ton on the international market
Like the mining products exported from the Democratic Republic of Congo to the international market, tin has been struggling to make good health for nearly two months already.
On the stock market, the price per ton of tin fell to 24,850.00 US dollars this Friday, August 12, 2022.
In the latest report published by the National Mercurial Commission, experts from the Ministry of Foreign Trade instead indicated that the ton of tin should trade at 25,533.75 USD this week against 25,200.00 USD last week, i.e. a price increase of around 333.75 USD.
According to the same document, the main mining products exported from the DRC should experience a price increase on this market during the period between August 8 and 13, 2022.
Cobalt, which has seen a spectacular drop in the international market in recent months, is also expected to improve this week from 49,755.00 USD per ton to 49,759.00 USD, a slight increase of 4 USD.
Gold would be traded at 56.87 USD per gram this week against 55.76 USD per gram last week, ie a positive price difference of around 1.11 USD.
Instead, silver rallied this week to $0.65 per gram from $0.61 per gram the previous week, a slight price increase of around $0.04.
According to the same document, tantalum is the only mining product that should show a stable trend on the international market this week at 410 USD per kilo.
