Anthony Mavunde, Minister of Minerals, led a crucial meeting with the Board of Directors and Management of the State Mining Corporation (STAMICO) in Dodoma on April 18, 2024. The agenda focused on shaping the mining landscape in Tanzania for the fiscal year 2023/2024.

.Collaborative Efforts: Deputy Minister of Minerals, Dr. Steven Kiruswa, called for strengthened collaboration with the Geological Survey of Tanzania (GST) to discover new investment areas and promote the nation’s mineral resources further.
.Financial Growth and Independence: Dr. Venance Mwasse, CEO of STAMICO, reported significant financial growth, with revenue soaring from 1.3 billion shillings to 63 billion shillings. The objective is to achieve complete financial independence by July 2024.
