DRC: as of September 1, 2020, more than USD 66 million has been mobilized for mining royalties in Lualaba
In the 2018, 2019 and 1st Semester 2020 softened report of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (ITIE DRC), it is indicated that all mining companies located in the province of Lualaba paid the sum of 66,623,565, 69 million US dollars in two and a half years to the Congolese public treasury.
Surveys conducted by the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative during the period under review indicate that in 2018 all mining companies in Lualaba province paid US$12,712,169.87 million to the Congolese public treasury. .
It should be noted that these figures will be revised upwards the following year, i.e. in 2019, to stand at 31,699,542.47 million USD.
In the first half of 2020, this report indicates that these companies paid a total of 22,211,853.35 million USD to the public treasury for mining royalties.
This report by the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative counted a total of 21 mining companies in Lualaba province.

Located in the commune of Fungurume, this mining company paid a total amount of 6,427,950.8 million USD;
2° KCC SA: 17,783,583.49 million USD;
3° GLOBAL COMMUS: 4,053,819.70 million USD;
4° TAVIR: 114,702.93 USD;
5° MUTANDA MINING: 22,228,145.52 USD;
6° KINSENDA COPPER COMPANY: $392,272.13;
7° Congo Dong Fang International Mining: $69,557.59;
8° METALKOL: 7,808,175.14 million USD;
9° KAMBOVE MINING COMPANY: 30,339.47 USD;
10° KATANGA METALS: 90,255.35 USD;
11° THOMAS MINING: $205,347.03;
12° LUALABA COPPER SMELTER: 1,370,454.79 million USD;
13° MINING PROGRESS: $172,882.07;
14° TENGYUAN COBALT & COPPER: 1,475,784.10 million USD;
15° CHENGTUN CONGO RESOURCES: 1,461,667.20 million USD;
16° DEZIWA MINING COMPANY: 2,742,810.50 million USD;
17° And finally, HANRUI METAL CONGO who paid 195,817.83 USD to the Congolese public treasury.
