A ton of cobalt falls to 64,985.00 USD on the International Market
The price of cobalt recorded a spectacular fall this Tuesday, July 5, 2022 on the international metals market in London.
The prices displayed on the London Stock Exchange indicate that cobalt is sold at 64,985.00 US dollars on Tuesday July 5 against 70,000 USD per ton on July 1, 2022.
In less than five (5) days, a tonne of cobalt recorded a price drop of around 5,015 USD.
In addition, it should be noted that the general trend in the prices of mining export products from the Democratic Republic of Congo is downward on the international market this week from July 4 to 9, 2022.
This is what experts from the National Mercurial Commission of the Ministry of Foreign Trade know.
According to these experts, a ton of cobalt should trade at 87,781.05 USD this week.
Copper remains down this week at 8,442.25 USD per ton against 8,960.20 USD per ton last week, a negative price difference of 517.95 USD.
Zinc is also down this week at 3,512.65 USD per tonne compared to 3,640.00 USD per tonne last week, resulting in a negative price difference of 128.3 USD.
As for tin, it is traded down this week at 28,550.00 USD per tonne against 33,150.00 USD per tonne last week, a negative price difference of 4,600 USD.
Gold also fell this week to 59.03 USD per gram against 59.31 USD per gram the previous week, a drop of 0.28 USD.
Similarly, silver drops this week to $0.69 per gram from $0.70 per gram last week, showing a decline of $0.01.
The tantalum price goes this week to 400.00 USD per Kg against 405.00 USD per Kg last week, i.e. a negative price difference of 5 USD.
