Tin prices rise 7.79%, Currently trading at $27,450 Per Ton.

The general trend in the prices of mining products exported from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) is upward on the international market for the period from January 23 to 28, 2023.

According to projections by the National Commission for Mercurial Prices, the main mining products exported from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) should experience a significant price increase on the international market this week.

The note informs that tin should trade at 27,450.00 USD per tonne this week on the market against 25,466 USD per tonne a week earlier, representing a positive price difference of around 1984.00 USD.

On the stock exchange, tin is sold at 28,647.500 USD per ton this week. A truth of price which is not very far from the projections of the experts of the Congolese Government. They note that copper is expected to trade at $9,174.40 per ton this week from $9,188.85 per ton the previous week.

During the same period, zinc is also expected to trade at 3,313.05 per ton compared to $3,110.40 per ton last week, a slight price increase of around $202.65.

The price of gold has slightly increased by 1.09 USD, currently trading at 61.34 USD per gram compared to last week’s 60.25 USD per gram.”

Experts from the National Mercurial Commission predict that the price of cobalt will continue to decrease this week, with a drop of around 482 USD, currently trading at 48,313.00 USD per tonne compared to last week’s 48,795 USD.

Silver is also expected to remain unchanged at $0.77 per gram this week, similar to last week’s market trend.
