Indeed, these discussions were fruitful in having made it possible to iron out all the gray areas surrounding the subcontracting situation within this multinational mining company.

At the end of this audience granted to the number 1 of the ERG Group whose companies were involved in the nominee phenomenon, the Director General of the ARSP announced the imminent decision which will be taken on the situation of this group in order to materialize the emergence of a real middle class, the fight of the Congolese Head of State Félix Tshisekedi.

For the CEO of ERG, the high-level meeting allowed him to discuss essential questions about subcontracting within his entity.

“We talked about all the problems that our society has and how to solve them. I thank the Director General for the chance he gave me to do things in a different way than in the past. He explained to me the goal of the ARSP, namely to develop the country and entrepreneurship.

An objective to which we also adhere. We are trying to push Congolese companies forward and by then, they will be the best and they must win the majority of subcontracting contracts. “, he indicated.

According to the Director General of ARSP, working sessions are necessary between the two parties in order to harmonize points of view around subcontracting within this group.

“When I talk about the ERG group, Frontiers, Métalkol, Boss Mining and Comide, there will be a working session with the technical teams to be able to work on the transition of the departure of these companies without the mine being affected.

The ERG Group will send us the list of goods and services and together, we will see how to replace them with eligible companies. This is also the reason for the Joint Commission between the ARSP and the FEC.

This is precisely to select good subcontractors. This is the fight of the Head of State. He does not want the Congolese to be cheated or exploited in the value chain. », declared the Director General of ARSP, Miguel Kashal.
