Rio Tinto has completed the initial work program on Midnight Sun Mining’s (TSXV: MMA) Solwezi licences in Zambia, part of an earn-in and joint venture agreement the companies signed in April 2020. After incurring project expenditures in excess of $3 million during the initial work phase, Rio will now proceed to the next stage of the agreement.
