The President of the Republic Félix Tshisekedi appointed this Monday, July 5, Madam Malangu Kabedi Mbuyi Governor of the Central Bank of Congo (BCC). She replaces Deogratias Mutombo in this position, who is appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Insurance Regulatory Authority (ARCA).  Dieudonné Fikiri and William Pambu are appointed vice-governors of the BCC. Researchers from Baidu Research Robotics and Auto-Driving Lab and the University of Maryland have developed an autonomous excavator system that can perform loading tasks without human operators.
