The day after his effective assumption of functions as Head of Government of the Sacred Union of the Nation, the Prime Minister, Jean-Michel Sama Lukonde Kyenge, received, in his office on Wednesday April 28, a large delegation of Gécamines (General of quarries and mines), led by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Albert Yuma Mulimbi.
Like one man, all the members of the Board of Directors of Gécamines, the major directors and the union delegation reiterated their support for the Prime Minister so that he succeeds in his heavy mission entrusted to him by the Head of State, Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo.
“We came here for two reasons: As Gécamines, to express our pride and our joy to see the former Director General of Gécamines raised by the Head of State to the important function of Prime Minister and Head of Government . We also came to tell him, as daughters and sons of this country, that we recognize that the Head of State, like us, appreciated his capacities. and his values. It was again proven in the National Assembly, since he was invested the same day. This means that even the deputies recognized in his speech his capacities. For us, it is normal, we worked with him for eight months. This is the second time that the senior executives of Gécamines and the trade union delegation have met the Head of Government since his appointment to the rank of Prime Minister. The first meeting took place during consultations initiated by the Prime Minister for the formation of the Government.
