DRC Deputy Minister of Mines,promises to work in transparency for the benefit of the Public Treasury
The handover and resumption between Godard Motemona and Alpha Denise Lupeto, respectfully, incoming and outgoing Deputy Ministers of Mines, took place 24 hours after the passing of the torches between the incumbent Minister Antoinette N’samba Kalambayi and Willy Kitobo, the outgoing Minister.
Three highlights marked this ceremony. First, the exchanges of civility between the two personalities. Then, their speeches followed as well as the signing of minutes of delivery and resumption accompanied and the delivery of some specific documents of the Deputy Minister of Mines, in particular the certificate of the Kimberley process.
Speaking at the said ceremony, the incoming Deputy Minister of Mines, Godard Motemona reassured to work in transparency, by aligning himself with the right vision of the Head of State, Félix Tshisekedi.
“We have objectives to achieve, unlike the other mandate which was in the coalition. Now there is no longer a coalition. There is only one leader, the President of the Republic, Félix Tshisekedi . There will be no more desk pads. We will work transparently, “said Godard Motemona.
The former deputy, elected from Mont-amba, Godard Motemona also thanked the Head of State Félix Tshisekedi for having entrusted him with this position of responsibility.
“If it pleased the Head of State to elevate me as Deputy Minister of Mines, he knows why. We will work in close collaboration with the titular Minister. We are not unaware that our ministry is the provider of the means for the public treasury, ”he added.
For her part, the outgoing Deputy Minister of Mines, Alpha Denise Lupeto, wished her replacement a fluctuating mandate.
“I wish you a fruitful mandate in this ministry. May Almighty God be with you,” she said.
