DRC: copper goes from 10,045 USD to 9,867 USD per ton this week
The general trend for export merchant mining products from the Democratic Republic of the Congo is down this week, from November 8 to 13, 2021, on the international market in light of projections by experts from the National Mercuriales Commission, reports a press release signed by the Minister of Foreign Trade, Jean-Lucien Bussa Tongba.
Only cobalt shows an uptrend. It is trading this week at $ 55,749 per ton, this week versus $ 55,695 per ton last week, a positive price spread of $ 53.
Copper is down this week to $ 9,867.20 per ton this week from $ 102,045 per ton last week, leaving a negative price spread of $ 178.2.
Zinc is also down to 3,415.20 USD per tonne this week from 3,524.60 USD per tonne last week, a price drop of 109.4 USD.
Tin is trading at $ 38,360.00 this week from UST 38,974.00 per tonne last week, a price drop of $ 615.
Likewise, gold is trending down to $ 57.98 per gram versus $ 58.08 per gram last week, a negative spread of $ 0.1.
Silver is selling for around $ 0.78 per gram this week versus $ 0.79 per gram last week, or a price difference of $ 0.01.
As for tantalum, it is stable on the international market at 237.00 USD per Kg.
