Gécamines Board of Directors presents their work Plan to Félix Tshisekedi
The President of the Republic, Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, received, in his office in the city of the AU, this Tuesday, March 7, 2023, the Board of Directors of Gecamines.
Newly appointed by presidential order, the nine members of the board of directors of the General of Quarry and Mines, Gecamines, in acronym, came to thank the Head of State for their appointment and to present their work plan to him with a view to revitalize this national flagship of the mining industry in the DRC.
The new management team of Gecamines is composed of: Guy-Robert LUKAMA NKUNZI Chairman of the Board of Directors; Placide NKALA BASADILUA, Managing Director; Jack MASAGU A MWANZA, Deputy General Manager 1; Ludovic MONGA BA’ZA, Deputy General Manager 2; and the administrators: Ms. Nelly KIWEWA MALUNDA, Ms. Tecla MPOZI MUYUMBA, Lawrence KYUNGU KIBWE, Léonie MWINE KABIENA and Désiré MBAY MUKOJ.
The Head of State took advantage of this meeting to give them his orientations concerning the good management of the mining heritage of the Nation for the benefit of the population.
