Job information
We are looking for an experienced Congolese for the position of Engineer – Reliability. This is a permanent position with a rotation of 5 working days, 2 days off and compensation including an attractive salary and incentive payment based on performance.
The Engineer – Reliability is a technical responsibility role that consists of developing, deploying and continuously improving maintenance strategies for the Kinsevere plant as well as ensuring that work plans comply with statutory and legislative requirements.
Main responsibilities
- Ensure that MMG standards are respected, especially with regard to the A2D (Acquire to Dispose) procedure for:
- Develop and develop maintenance strategies for all equipment in operation;
- Establish associated task lists and work instructions, and ensure that they are properly documented and encoded in the SAP software;
- Identify all equipment requiring inspections and repairs based on legislative and regulatory requirements, and create databases in SAP.
- Develop and deploy maintenance strategies to meet the demands of critical verification tasks. Ensure compliance with these state requirement plans in SAP;
- Provide technical support to all maintenance staff;
- Use failure elimination methods (FMEA: Failure Mode Effects Analysis) to identify major production losses, failures in such equipment, or degradation in performance.
- Ensure that risk assessment is carried out as part of the maintenance function and that critical control measures are in place and well managed;
- Review equipment performance strategy and failure mode analysis to ensure that all task lists and preventive maintenance instructions remain accurate and appropriate.
- Review and analyze performance indices (KPIs) in A2D to ensure A2D process compliance;
- Review and approve maintenance Master Data modification requirements in accordance with maintenance strategies.
Skills
- High-level computer skills:
- SAP
- Microsoft Project
- Microsoft Office suite
- High-level skills in prioritization of tasks and effective communication;
- Proven skills in planning, organization and time management.
Knowledge
- RCM procedure (Reliability Centered Maintenance)
- Common maintenance practices and standards;
- Knowledge of the SAP system, in particular, SAP PM and Master Data objects
- Understanding of business and financial principles
Experience
- At least 5 years’ experience in mechanical engineering in the mineral extraction and processing industry or any other suitable industry
- Change management.
Qualifications
- Engineering degrees in the appropriate discipline or its equivalent issued by a recognized institution.
