Job information

We are looking for an experienced candidate for the position of Scheduler in charge of the nomenclature (or BOM planner)  . This is a permanent position with a rotation of 5 working days, 2 days off and compensation including an attractive salary and incentive payment based on performance.

The BOM Planner is a role responsible for updating Existing BOM based on Manufacturer’s documentation and creating the BOM for new Kinsevere equipment according to MMG standards. This includes the transmission of Basic Data.

 Main responsibilities

  • Provide support for department, site and company standards;
  • Adhere to MMG standards; in particular the A2D (Acquire To Dispose) processes and the main areas of interest:
    • Check the Typical Construction of the location of each equipment and update it according to the documentation and spare parts lists;
    • Creation of Item Numbers for Spare Parts necessary for the maintenance of the Plant;
    • Update of the parts inventory on the basis of spare parts investigations;
    • Treat cases of duplication of storage codes in order to merge them and slow moving parts in order to decrease the inventory of the store or make them obsolete;
    • Participation in urgent spare parts follow-up meetings;
    • Update of the spare parts tracking list (General plant maintenance spare parts);
    • Manage expenses within budget and assist in the development of maintenance budgets
  • Work closely with Suppliers, Maintenance Supervisors and purchasing staff.

Skills

  • High level computer skills, including working knowledge of Computer Aided Maintenance Management systems (SAP preferred), Microsoft Project or similar, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Excel or similar and Microsoft Office in general;
  • Maintenance engineering skills;
  • High level skills in organization, time management, prioritization and effective communication;
  • High level of understanding of Technical drawing.

Knowledge

  • Common maintenance practices and standards;
  • Knowledge of the SAP system, in particular SAP PM and Master Data objects;
  • Understanding of business and financial principles;
  • Good understanding of modern methods of Health, Safety and Environment management, as well as industry legislation.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in planning, reliability or project position in mining, construction or heavy industry.
  • Significant exposure to maintenance operations in a mineral processing environment.

Qualifications

  • Electromechanical engineer
