EIZ to Conduct Technical Audits for Lusaka-Ndola Road Upgrade
The Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ) has announced plans to conduct technical audits of the upgrade of the Lusaka-Ndola Road into a dual carriageway. EIZ President Wesley Kaluba stated that this initiative aims to ensure that quality work is carried out on the road.
Mr. Kaluba emphasized the importance of all engineers involved in the project being accredited by the institution. This accreditation will facilitate monitoring and enable disciplinary action against anyone found erring during the project.
Speaking to ZNBC News in Lusaka, Mr. Kaluba highlighted the Institution’s commitment to actively participate in both the construction and maintenance phases of the Lusaka-Ndola road project.
