Market: gold and silver up this week from December 5 to 10, 2022 (Mercuriales)
The main mining export products of the Democratic Republic of the Congo are on the rise this week from December 5 to 10, 2022, according to estimates by experts from the National Mercurial Commission of the Ministry of Foreign Trade.
Gold is trading higher this week at $56.69 per gram from $56.50 per gram last week, a positive price differential of $0.10.
Silver is also up this week at $0.69 per gram from $0.68 per gram last week, up $0.01.
The other product on the rise this week is copper, which is trading at 8,051.10 USD per tonne against 8,011.20 USD per tonne last week, showing an increase of 39.9 USD.
As for tantalum, it remained stable this week on the international market at 370 USD per kg.
Among the products showing a downward trend, there is cobalt which is selling this week around 51.248 USD per ton against 51.253 USD per ton the previous week, a drop of 5 USD.
Zinc is also down this week at 2935 USD per tonne against 2946 USD per tonne last week, a price difference of 311.55 USD.
Tin is also showing a downward trend and is selling around 22,389 USD per ton against 22,527 USD, that is a price difference of 138 USD.
