The development of North Ubangi at the centre of exchanges between the Governor and Minister of Mines- DRC
It was Thursday, August 18, 2022 that the National Minister in charge of mines, Antoinette N’SAMBA KALAMBAYI spoke with the new Governor Malo Ndinga Mobutu of the North Ubangi Province in his office in Gombe.
During this meeting between the provincial executive and the mining boss, there was talk of the development of the province of North Ubangi which is full of natural resources within it.
“We came for a courtesy visit, but also to request the accompaniment of the Ministry of Mines to the province of North Ubangi rich in natural resources. We should first go through here to see with the minister, how we could work in good agreement,” he explained.
After taking the baton of command of the province on Tuesday, July 12, Malo Ndinga Mobutu is lining up behind the Head of State, Felix Tshisekedi to restore the beautiful image of North Ubangi.
“We are at the head of the province, we do not know all our resources. However, we have projects that are ongoing. We simply hope that North Ubangi can be privileged at the level of research in deposits in order to allow us to exploit our soil and subsoil in the perspective of attracting foreign investors, “he informs the press at the end of this hearing.
For her part, the Minister of Mines, Antoinette N’SAMBA KALAMBAYI, she was very receptive and promised to accompany the province.
