Antoinette N’samba calls on heads of provincial mining divisions to show moral probity
The Minister of Mines Antoinette ‘Samba Kalambayi urged the executives, particularly the heads of the provincial divisions of her ministry to show moral probity in the exercise of their functions, in a speech delivered last Friday at the ceremony of closing of the capacity building seminar for heads of provincial mining and geology divisions, within the grounds of the Saint Pierre Claver hotel in the commune of Gombe.
Speaking in the presence of Mr. Godard Motemona, Deputy Minister of Mines, Minister ‘Samba Kalambayi praised the active and remarkable participation of all heads of divisions in the work of the seminar to build their capacities.
In addition to the Minister of Mines, the coordinator of the Technical Unit of the General Secretariat for Mines, Alain Fundi, reminded the participants of the objectives pursued by this seminar, which, he said, aimed to bring each manager to achieve the same level of perception and use of work tools in the mining sector. Another objective, added Alain Fundi, is to enable each head of provincial division to reach the optimum level required in the administrative management of mining.
Taking the floor, the Secretary General for Mines, Jacques Ramazani Lutuba, urged the heads of the provincial divisions to strictly apply the mining code and its implementing measures to validly defend and preserve the interests of the State.
