According to Zambia’s Transport Minister Frank Tayali, the TAZARA Passenger Train was scheduled to start running from New Kapirimposhi to Dar-es-Salaam on Tuesday 18th April. This announcement came as the Mukuba Passenger Train, operated by the Tanzania Zambia Railway Authority, was recognized as the best train in Central Africa. The Cabinet has given approval for the management of the Vehicle Traffic Management System at Kasumbalesa Border Facility, along with other supporting infrastructure, to be handed over to the Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA).
